... and I have. I have installed bamboo in the past which is why I am reluctant to install it in the present! I will install bamboo, but you must be aware that it has inherit problems due to its intrinsic nature that you will have to be willing to deal with.
Problems with Bamboo as a Flooring Choice
The fibers in grass are created differently from the fibers that make the grain in woods. Not even all woods make good flooring choices. Bamboo is simply not stable and will typically not hold up as well as wood.
